From March 20 to June 21, take on the Big Hill Runners 6 Summits of Spring Challenge.
Complete all six summits in any order, at your own pace — and join us for a finishers pub night 🍻 (on us) at the end.

1️⃣ Fullerton Loop Trail — 6.6 km | 224 m
A perfect season opener with rolling singletrack and a gentle climb.

2️⃣ Prairie Mountain — 8.2 km | 701 m
A steep, iconic climb with rewarding summit views.

3️⃣ Powderface Ridge Trail — 11.4 km | 754 m
A scenic ridge run with varied terrain and big views.

4️⃣ Forgetmenot Ridge – North Summit — 11.3 km | 790 m
A rugged climb with classic Kananaskis terrain.

5️⃣ Moose Mountain Trail — 15.3 km | 827 m
A sustained climb with strong endurance demands.
*Remember that winter gates for Moose Mountain Road and Hwy #66 open up in May.

6️⃣ Nihahi Ridge – South Summit — 11.9 km | 834 m
A dramatic ridge run and a fitting final challenge.

How to Participate

Post a summit photo tagging @bighillrunners and using #BHR6Summits, or email your photo to info@bighillrunners.com.

Group runs will be organized throughout the challenge — follow our Facebook page for updates.

Please be prepared for spring mountain conditions including snow, ice, mud, wildlife, and rapidly changing weather.
